Description

The City of Omaha partners with vendors like Lime and Spin to provide dockless electric scooters throughout downtown, Midtown, Aksarben, Benson, and other urban zones. These scooter-share fleets rely on vendor-managed charging infrastructure—scooters are collected overnight, charged off-site, and redeployed the next morning by contracted “Juicers” rather than public charging docks.

Features

• Over 500 scooters deployed in high-traffic urban zones
• Operational hours typically 5 a.m.–10:30 p.m.
• No physical public charging stations—vendors handle overnight charging
• Geofenced service zones prevent scooter operation outside permitted areas
• $1 activation fee + per-minute charge during rides
